At least you are getting closer. I thought there were still issues with the shoulder/bicep area. I still haven't started on fitting my SFD again. I've been helping DH build a large chicken coop. Have the roof to built today and all the trim. Hopefully I can get to sewing by the weekend. Good luck on getting all the adjustments made.
I want chickens so bad, but my husband says that we live in a housing development, and if our dogs don't get the chickens the neighbor's dogs will.
I redid and then took a good look at the shoulders, and have redrafted front and back and will be doing yet another. Sandra mentioned that you should send pics to Glenda as she can give you good advice even from pics. Just be sure to do front, back, and sides.
This is teaching me so much about fitting, so it's all good. I don't want to bug Glenda too much as a friend and I have signed up for the October retreat. Can't wait for that!
We live in the country, closest neighbor is 1/3 mile away so having chickens or other animals isn't a problem. Just need to be concerned about rattlesnakes, coyotes, possums, raccoons, hawks, and bobcats.
I agree that using SFD teaches you so much about fitting. I have some great ideas if I can just get the time to sew. I'm taking a lunch break now wish is over. So back to the heat and building. It's all about measuring correctly whether you are dealing with clothes or wood.
Have a great day. I can't wait to hear about your experiences in October.
SG is down; server problems. Kathryn is posting updates at patternreview.com in the discussion area.
